Tom has the soul of a poet but a job in a Warehouse, he longs for adventure and a way of escaping his mothers suffocating embrace. Abandoned by her Husband, Amanda Wingfield finds comfort in the memories of a more perfect life in the deep South, the endless pursuit to keep Tom working at the warehouse and the persistent search for a husband for her shy daughter, Laura. Laura finds solace from the angry frustrations of her Mother and Brother in her collection of Glass Animals and Records.
When a Gentleman Caller finally arrives, Laura and Amanda become more hopeful than they ever have been- but will it end in Laura's romantic illusions being shattered?

The Glass Menagerie is often heralded as one of Tennessee Williams most powerful and moving plays, and as the ultimate portrayal of loneliness and lost love.
